Updating FusionReactor 2.0.x to 2.0.4 Hotfix
Description
Updating 2.0.x to 2.0.4 Hotfix:
The following procedure describes the steps required to update the FusionReactor Java library (fusionreactor.jar) to a newer version. This is the recommended procedure for applying hotfixes and minor updates.
After downloading the FusionReactor update (.zip) and extracting the fusionreactor.jar:
- Locate the original version of the fusionreactor.jar fileDepending on the server on which you have installed FusionReactor this file typically can be found in:
For a ColdFusion MX 7 Singleserver installation:
/CFusionMX7/runtime/servers/coldfusion/SERVER-INF/lib
For a ColdFusion MX 6 Singleserver installation:
/CFusionMX/runtime/servers/default/SERVER-INF/lib
For for a ColdFusion MX Multiserver installation:
/JRun4/servers/cfusion/SERVER-INF/lib - Stop ColdFusion services.
- Make a backup copy of the fusionreactor.jar file. Copy the file to a save directory so that it can be restored in case of problems.
- Copy the new version of the fusionreactor.jar file into the SERVER-INF/lib folder above, overwriting the original.
- Copy the new version of the fusionreactor.jar file into the FusionReactor/etc/lib folder of your FusionReactor installation directory (e.g. C:\FusionReactor\etc\lib, /opt/fusionreactor/etc/lib), overwriting the copy that is already there.
- Restart ColdFusion services.
- In case of problems, stop ColdFusion, copy the backup file back to the SERVER-INF/lib and FusionReactor/etc/lib folders and restart ColdFusion.
