Timeout protection (when set to low values) is breaking ColdFusion MX.
Description
It is possible, by setting Timeout Protection to a low enough value, that you can actually interrupt ColdFusion MX while it is actually compiling pages. If this occurs, it can result in the server being left in an unstable state. This may happen more often after restarting the ColdFusion MX Server. To recover you should turn off Timeout Protection (or increase its time limit) and then restart your server fresh.
