I'm trying to install the trial version of FusionReactor on a couple of web servers. Initially I get an error that the installer is unable to locate java.exe. As soon as I select the file, the installer exits.
Description
This is a known problem with ColdFusion MX 6.1. Please see the following tech note:

On Windows restart the Installer with the -manual argument and then click the Download button to download a JRE for the Installation. Alternatively download another JVM from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp in order to be able to install.
Please note that there is no support for a Microsoft JVM. Also be aware that you will be able to remove this JVM once the installation is complete.
