I get the following error when trying to install FusionReactor on Windows XP: com.install4j.api.windows.WinRegistry$ExpandSring
Description
First, check that the MD5 hash of the Installer is identical with the one shown on the download page? If you don't have a suitable tool available to do this download one form here.
The error message reported looks as if the Setup fails (for some reason) to scan the registry for any suitable ColdFusion/JRun servers where FusionReactor can be installed on. The Setup has been tested on all versions of Windows, so try the following;
- check if this is a problem of this machine only. Does it work on a different windows box?
- Is there any issue with the registry on this machine? Can it be read by the user who started the Setup?
- If nothing helps give the manual installation a chance (it is not difficult). Download the ZIP from here and follow the procedure described in the installation guide
