[frs-11] I’m using ColdFusion MX with the inbuilt web server and I see requests for images and style sheets. How do I get rid of these?

Unlike web servers like IIS which only pass .cfm files to ColdFusion MX, the internal web server serves all file types so they are all visible to FusionReactor.

For FusionReactor 2.0
Go to FusionReactor/Settings and change the Restrictions option to read "Monitor requests that match the rules. Then go to FusionReactor/Restrictions and add a filter with the following restriction:

(.*)cfm

Now you will only see files which have "cfm" in them. You can also add restrictions for other common file types such as cfc or jsp.

For FusionReactor 1.0.x
If you do not want to see then then go to your ColdFusion MX application directory and edit the wwwroot/WEB-INF/web.xml file. There will be a FusionReactor section within this file. (Search for "FusionReactor".) Within the FusionReactor section you will see:

<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>FusionReactor</filter-name>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>

Change this so that it reads:

<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>FusionReactor</filter-name>
<url-pattern>/fusionreactor/*</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>
<filter-mapping>
<filter-name>FusionReactor</filter-name>
<url-pattern>*.cfm</url-pattern>
</filter-mapping>

and then restart ColdFusion MX. Note: If you change the web root of FusionReactor to something other than "/fusionreactor/" then the web.xml file must also be updated.
