[frs-340] Stack traces for MongoDB queries

Enabling MongoDB Stack Traces

MongoDB execution stack traces are now available within FusionReactor, similar to the exisitng JDBC Stack Traces feature. The traces are taken at the point of operation execution and can be viewed on the Trace tab of the details page for the Mongo transaction. Mongo transactions can be viewed by selecting the required transaction type from the dropdown menu on the Transaction Activity/History pages.

To enable the feature add the following entries to the instance's reactor.conf file inside the conf directory.

mongo.stack_recorder.active=true

mongo.runtime.limit.stack_recorder with a appropriate threshold value in milliseconds (default 100ms).

  • e.g. mongo.runtime.limit.stack_recorder=50 will capture stack traces on queries slower than or equal to 50 ms.

Stack Trace Filters

To set stack trace filters for MongoDB queries use the JDBC filters found at JDBC -> Stack Trace FIlters in FusionReactor.
