[frs-171] I don’t see CPU graphs, Enterprise Dashboard, memory graphs and the Refresh button.

The affected pages and functionality are all Flash components, and they're being blocked by IE. The "protection bar" appears when you try access them.

This occurs because the security level for the zone in which IE has placed FusionReactor does not allow ActiveX components to run.

What we'd recommend, is to add the server to IE's "Trusted Sites" zone, then lower the security for this zone to "Medium" (this is the default level for this zone). This should not open up any significant security holes. The "Medium" security level allows ActiveX controls to run.

  • Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security
  • Select Trusted Sites
  • Ensure the Security Level is set to Medium
  • Click on Sites
  • The current website should be pre-filled in the Add theis website to the zone box, click Add
  • Uncheck 'Require server verification(https) for all sites in this zone'
  • Click Close, and OK to finish using the Internet Options dialog
  • Click Refresh in the browser.
  • You should see the zone (visible in the bottom frame of the browser) change to "Trusted Sites" with a green check mark
  • You may need to restart IE to get this setting to take

If you change how you address the server, e.g. by IP or using a different domain name, you'll need to add this address to Trusted Sites too.
