The affected pages and functionality are all Flash components, and they're being blocked by IE. The "protection bar" appears when you try access them.
This occurs because the security level for the zone in which IE has placed FusionReactor does not allow ActiveX components to run.
What we'd recommend, is to add the server to IE's "Trusted Sites" zone, then lower the security for this zone to "Medium" (this is the default level for this zone). This should not open up any significant security holes. The "Medium" security level allows ActiveX controls to run.
If you change how you address the server, e.g. by IP or using a different domain name, you'll need to add this address to Trusted Sites too.
